I took my this course as a first-year having only taken french once before Sophomore year of high school, and it took a bit of review but once I got the hang of the class I was able to hardly pay attention and still do well. She is not the best French teacher I have had, I took a lower level French class as an attempt to boost my GPA, however, ended up getting my GPA lowered even more. She is very old not in a mean way, the stubborn kinda of old. I know French from before when I lived in Quebec but just made it very complicated to understand in general. Loiza Miles is an amazing teacher, if you show her that you care. If you don't speak up and ask questions, she really won't care much about you at all, and can come off a bit rude.
