Genuinely the best Professor I have had at Northeastern so far. Her teaching style is unique, engaging, and informative. For the semester long group project we chose groups and created podcasts on industries we were passionate about. Best professor I have had at NEU so far, not your typical professor. At first, very intimidating to weed people out. Show up with positive attitude and participate as much as you can. Do the mandatory readings before class and take notes prior. Learned so much from her and she builds a community within the classroom. She does NOT create a welcoming environment, she will berate you and nit pick what you said. She also boasts a lot about her personal achievements, like how she has a wait list for registration. Professor Padurean creates an environment for students to be collaborative and bounce ideas off one another. Her teaching method is unorthodox, but by far the most consequential I've experienced. She is absolutely amazing! You either love her or hate her-I loved her. For the first few classes she will be tough, but she becomes warmer over time. She does this to weed people out which, honestly gives a great batch of classmates to work with. Participation matters!
