He gives excellent feedback and is willing to provide extra help. His helpful lecture slides are provided, but it is very necessary to attend lectures in order to understand all the necessary details. Professor is very knowledgeable on the subject and his slides are very organized for the class. He also cares about his students and will try to help you if you don't understand something. Thought I would hate the class, but Moneesh made materials science really interesting. His slides are scary but he explains things very well. Homework is very easy and exams are reasonable. Prof. Upmanyu is a passionate teacher who is great at teaching the assigned material as well as impressing why it is important. Lectures were informative and he made a point to answer any questions brought up. He is accessible out of class and was good at responding to emails.
