I see Dr. Lawshe everyday regardless if I have him for class or not. Very nice and respectful and his work is not hard. If you ever have questions he will always answer them in the best way that he can. Very down to Earth and an easy going professor that understands his students.CRIM1100 2026-01-14 00:25:58 +0000 UTC
Lecture heavyyy but he keeps it interesting while still making sure to stick to basics. Super nice guy and cares a lot about every inquiry or comment students have. Dont love the student discussions in class because it gives little time but I appreciate the attempt to make sure students talk to each other and discuss the lessonCRIM1100 2025-04-03 17:58:51 +0000 UTC
Nate is amazing! This semester, I had a lot of mental health issues, so doing homework was a lot for me, but after telling him, he was really considerate about grades. I turned in the final paper a few days late, and he only took off two points. You need a textbook, and I couldn't find a free one online.CRIM1100 2024-04-30 01:41:10 +0000 UTC
take this prof yall.... easy ACRIM1100 2023-12-20 02:48:47 +0000 UTC
Every class was lecture-based; however, he lectured with a slideshow which made it easier to follow. The quizzes, midterm, and final were online open-note and taken outside of class. At the end of the course, there is a final paper which I definitely recommend starting early when it is assigned, but he is a very reasonable grader.CRIM1100 2023-12-10 18:53:36 +0000 UTC
Every class was lecture heavy, but they were honestly super interesting. Loved prof. Lawshe and this class! Super chill and funny guy. Quizzes and Final was open note and take home, so it wasn't too stressful.CRIM1100 2023-09-19 20:03:10 +0000 UTC
Great professor with a fresh look at criminal justice. However, the class was very lecture-heavy. He made the class very manageable and really cared about student performance in his class. Loves to interact with students in class to engage them. The grade was comprised of quizzes, midterm, final, and final paper which were all open note.CRIM1100 2023-06-18 17:51:55 +0000 UTC
Very interesting lectures although his slides are very text-heavy but he posts them online after class. He's very knowledgeable and excited about the material. Grade was made up of reading quizzes, a midterm exam, a research paper, and a final exam. All quizzes and exams were taken online outside of class with open notes.CRIM1100 2023-04-18 19:58:20 +0000 UTC
