Professor Beimler is the GOAT. He makes class super interesting with his lectures, and frames the class around learning the concepts, instead of having people stress over grades on little assignments. Grades are fair, and many fun extra credit opportunities to go along with the reading quizzes. You will WANT to attend his class. Take His Class!!!!!POLS1155 2026-05-08 18:30:09 +0000 UTC

Best professor I have had at NU. Nik's genuine passion for teaching shines through during his lectures and he makes it very easy to follow along. I felt very comfortable asking questions, and he always made sure to connect what we were learning with past topics. Lots of group discussion to facilitate a cooperative classroom. Take Nik! Take him!! he is a very fair grader, really cares about international relations and he just really wants his students to learn. He also incorporates fun examples/references into his lectures and quizzes. Would love to take another course with him in the future!POLS1155 2024-12-05 20:43:30 +0000 UTC
Bentley University (GLS 116). Online midterm and final, 2 lit reviews, 1 additional essay, and one presentation over the whole semester. You also get weekly readings that will help on the occasional pop quizzes which are simple either way. If you take the night bomb you're guaranteed to be let out early. Overall, I would recommend him to anyone.POLS1155 2024-11-14 00:51:01 +0000 UTC
