Great teacher! Passionate and very knowledgeable about subject. Lectures are dynamic and interactive. Have to admit I did not do all readings (still got by), but the books were well chosen. I liked the expert pro and con debate on controversial topics. Grading is fair and feedback detailed and excellent. Go out of your way to take this Prof!POLS3305 2017-05-31 19:34:50 +0000 UTC
Course and professor made my semester. I would wake up early and walk through a noreaster to take professor zernicke again. Made me think and write at higher level. Still using knowledge from the class in conversations with friends/family and in assessing daily events.POL3305 2017-05-18 11:37:05 +0000 UTC
Best prof ever! Took his presidency course. Encyclopedic knowledge, dynamic and funny. Challenges students to be analytical, document their assertions with evidence and authority. Has gift for generating conversations that enlighten, inspire and allow divergent political views. Wants you to learn and commits himself to it. Completely awesome!POL3305 2017-05-17 14:35:12 +0000 UTC
