As a student also taking Algo and OOD the same semester as stats, I didn't expect this to be the most stressful and work-heavy class I took. Class is useless and he doesn't teach you anything, so you have to spend 4+ hours a day self-studying to even have a chance on the tests (if you want a good grade). Ricardo is a good person but an awful teacher. I took Statistics with him and every person in all of his sessions wanted to switch professors or drop out. He jumps around way too much and does not explain things clearly or in order. Very hard to follow class or know what is going on. Took his Business Statistics class. Worst professor in my life. Doesn't explain the material, jumps from one thing to another. You won't get any of your grades till the end of the course. Doesn't give any grades back until the last minute. Found it nearly impossible to follow his lectures because he would keep jumping around. Impossible to take notes--one second it's there and the next second he erases it. Extremely vague guidelines. Makes this class way harder than it should be.
