Uses AI for course content by the way.ORG3201 2025-08-12 18:44:00 +0000 UTC
Uses AI instead of own knowledge and time to prepare their lectures. Yet doesnt want you utilizing tools. I guess its great for teaching the greedy and hypocritical side of business insteadMGMT3305 2025-05-17 15:48:16 +0000 UTC
P. Rick is such a chiller as a person and professor. His class was surrounded entirely on the group pitch project and he would cancel classes 2 out of the 3 days of the week. He gave good feedback on our pitch books and gives reasonable homework with reasonable grading styles. Easy A for sure1101 2023-11-16 20:18:54 +0000 UTC
I had Professor Arrowood during the Summer of 2023, and I can say without a doubt that he is an effective Org B teacher, and I did enjoy his class. The class was extremely simple to understand under professor Arrowood, and if you simply showed up to class and listened, it was easy to score above a B. All you had to do was show up and listen.ORG3201 2025-05-20 20:42:23 +0000 UTC
Worst instructor I've had. Grades were based on flattery, not work quality. He bragged about himself, put students on the spot to entertain himself, ignored deadlines, and said the syllabus was irrelevant. Class was always cut short and often canceled. Sloppy, AI-generated lecture slides and notes were the least of his many shortcomings. Fire him.MGMT3305 2025-05-16 13:53:57 +0000 UTC
Rick Arrowood is a joke! He made my class purchase an "Organizational Behavior Support Materials and Cases" which was $40, made us upload a screen shot of Canvas showing that we purchased the materials. He NEVER USED THEM IN ANY OF THE CLASSES!!!! Waste of my money and time, plus he would constantly cancel class. Unprofessional, should be fired.ORG3201 2025-05-19 18:54:19 +0000 UTC
Using too much AI.MGMT3305 2025-05-16 02:47:52 +0000 UTC
Joke of a professor, though not a bad person himself.ORG3201 2025-05-19 04:54:24 +0000 UTC
(Boston College) Professor Arrowood is charismatic and he tries to make his classes funny and engaging but ends up embarrassing students and himself a lot of the time. He is very unserious during class only for his assignments to be unexpectedly more complicated than they ever should be. Disorganized. Would not take again.MGMT3305 2024-11-17 14:49:27 +0000 UTC
I'm still baffled that's he extensively used AI for his course.ORG3201 2025-05-17 16:52:59 +0000 UTC
Amazing gave my group a straight A on the projectMGMT3305 2024-08-06 18:15:55 +0000 UTC
Rick might be the worst ever. He spends all the class time on an egotistical rant or creating useless activities and then gives extremely difficult quizzes on lecture notes that he has never discussed. Attending class is a waste of time, though attendance is mandatory, and he never wastes an opportunity to put you down personally and embarassingly.ORG3201 2025-04-02 01:31:32 +0000 UTC
Very disorganized and confusing professor. You have to pay for a case study that he wrote which has tons of mistakes and is poorly written. And then he's ironically tough when grading. Asked for feedback on a quiz multiple times and never got it. Discussions are fun but he interrupts frequently and can be disrespectful. Charismatic guy, though.MGMT3305 2022-11-21 15:51:52 +0000 UTC
Very fun professor, super memorable!ORG3201 2024-12-08 21:39:19 +0000 UTC
My second class with Rick and if I could take him again I absolutely would. He truly wants students to learn things through experience rather than from a textbook so the class was very entertaining. Consisted of lighthearted and interesting discussions on EVERYTHING and fun activities. Provided that you match his enthusiasm, you will get an A.MGMT3305 2022-11-18 00:29:00 +0000 UTC
