The material on the test isn't even in the textbook or lectures. Attendance is necessary even though the lectures are unhelpful and unrelated to test questions, since most of the learning material is in the textbook. CHEM1151 is 2 semesters of chem in a single semester class, so a lot of work and challenge is expected. I can't complain there. Dr. Piatt is one of my favorite professors that I have had at Northeastern. Yes, the class is challenging, but she does a great job of making the content interesting. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLAS!!! I REGRET IT SO MUCH. Tests barely reflect her lectures, so get ready to read textbooks and study overnight. I gave her a chance despite the bad reviews thinking she would improve by her third year, but nope I was wrong. Tests are very hard and she doesn't curve at all, and extra credit is very minimal.
