Shefelbine is a tough but overall very good professor. She cares very much about the rigor of the course, but she gives plenty of opportunity to succeed--she can be intimidating, but she's willing to meet and help out if you just communicate with her! Definitely one of the hardest classes I've taken, but it's designed to be hard. Attending office hours and doing loads of practice helped immensely. Quizzes and exams are HARD.
