Taking A&P I with this professor was very challenging. Lectures seem clear, but exams are confusing and phrased very differently. It felt like understanding the material wasn't enough you had to decode the questions. Even after changing study methods, improvement was difficult. The slides, which she reads straight off of, are too simple to make a student gain the complex knowledge required for her tests. I recommend skipping class and going through the slides slowly and chatgpt concepts that are unclear (which is most of it). Anatomy I and II were so content-heavy, but everything that you need to know for tests is included in the lecture. There's a textbook available, but just focusing on the slides she provides is enough to prepare for all the exams. Took A&P II with her again and changed my study habits group study, rewatching lectures,but exams were still difficult. The wording and phrasing of questions are confusing and unclear. Genuinely seems like she doesn't know what she's talking about. She just reads off the slides and only chooses to answer questions that are on the slides. She gives many tests that are just so conceptual and not straightforward, so prepare to study a lot. It's only difficult because she struggles to teach in an effective manner. I thought knew what I was getting myself into, but somehow it's so much worse. She has three tests throughout the semester and then the final, accounts for 90% of your grade. She talks (well more like reads off the slide) way too fast. She records all her lectures so you can stop showing up to lectures. The lectures are the main con! She reads directly from the slides. Her tests are very straightforward. You will get the grade you work for, but you must teach yourself. The content is very difficult. Professor Peacock is the most horrible and unprofessional teacher I've ever had. Each exam can make or break your entire grade so doing poorly on one tanks your grade. It's all MC but the questions are impossible. Nothing like what we learn in class. She reads off the board word for word so there's no point in going to class.
