While she's harsh at grading the group presentation drafts, she helps you focus and prepare for all the presentations you have to do in later courses. Her power points are clear, and her tests are very easy. If you put in effort to the class, she'll give you a good grade. I'd recommend her over other Intro ProfessorsBUSN1101 2012-11-13 00:37:35 +0000 UTC
Ms. Mcnamara grades hard during the course but she give you an A for the final project if you show quality effort. The project constitutes most of your grade so you don't have to worry about any grades before that. If you work for an A, you will get one.BUSN1111 2012-02-02 18:48:06 +0000 UTC
Worst teacher I've had at NU thus far. Favors girls, unfair, and makes me feel like I'm back in 2nd grade.BUSN1102 2011-09-22 14:53:04 +0000 UTC
Ok, heres the deal you can easily get an A at the END OF THE SEMESTER. However, she grades harshly for your draft group projects, so you always think you are doing bad. Even though rue quiz averages are like 95%. DO NOT BUY THE TEXTBOOK, just study her ppts word to word and you will be on you're way to an A.BUS1101 2011-04-09 18:17:43 +0000 UTC
Not the best teacher at NU. Does have favorites and is not really the fairest teacher out there. If you focus hard in class you should do fine. Group projects are hit or miss.BUSN1201 2010-11-13 15:29:05 +0000 UTC
She's a good teacher and her quizzes are not too bad. Although half of your grade is the project, and she grades them crazy hard. I worked so hard on my project and had a 95 test average and the project brought be down to a B-. You will certainly earn a lower grade than deservedBUS101 2010-04-07 04:37:10 +0000 UTC
all quizes are based on her powerpoint so textbook is not needed. She's very nice but she grades extremely hard on the projectsBSBN101 2009-11-19 22:28:06 +0000 UTC
The absolute worst professor you can get stuck with. We call her the fat walrus. Her grading is incredibly harsh, and she is terrible when it comes to guiding students with their work. The experience in her class is so bad that you will likely want to leave Northeastern.BUSN1101 2011-11-07 09:47:01 +0000 UTC

She was very hot and cold; some days was easy, other days was very grumpy and strict. Ridiculously tough grader on the preliminary project parts, but was fair on the final project.BUSN1101 2011-01-31 16:33:29 +0000 UTC
She's really nice...grades ridiculously hard on the group/team projects. basically teaches off her power point slides which she bases her quizzes off. (note: learn every word of these slides, bc the quizzes are fill in the blanks, so annoying). shes not very engaging, but shes not painfully boring either. very clear, very thorough.BUSN1201 2009-11-12 03:46:57 +0000 UTC
She is extremely strict with her grading. Only gave 2 homeworks and if you did something like handwrite it then there's 5 points straight off your final grade. She counts the final presentation as most of your grade and grades it pretty fairly. She can be a bit ambiguous about when things are due. I would go another way if you can.BUSN1101 2011-01-05 12:45:24 +0000 UTC
