really great professor. greats at teaching. attendance not mandatory, and all exam questions are literally just our hw questions with different numbers (sometimes even the same numbers). cancelled the final and just made us do a small 3 slide presentation over zoom.ECON2315 2026-04-17 12:23:26 +0000 UTC
WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I took him for Microtheory this past spring and he was by far my favorite professor at northeastern . He makes everything extremely clear and makes sure his students understand the concepts. He is very knowledgeable and makes himself available for help. Test questions (minus final) come straight from hw. Would recommend.ECON2315 2025-05-28 15:57:38 +0000 UTC
Professor Shariq is awesome. He knows what he is talking about and is very good at explaining everything. For Micro theory, the tests just used the same questions as the quizzes which was very helpful. It was a hard class but that is because IMO this is a hard subject. He is also supper helpful in office hours.ECON2315 2025-03-19 20:25:15 +0000 UTC
I think he has been one of my most favourite professors at neu. he is passionate about econs and he truly cares about his students learning each and everyones name. I will definitely miss him but will take more of his classes in the future. The grading for the class is really fair as well. all the tests are based on the textbook on achieve.ECON2315 2024-12-11 17:59:36 +0000 UTC
