Avoid this class if possible. Prof. is condescending and confusing. Exams are worded unclearly, compounded by his dumbing-down of the language in class lectures. Often tests on material not covered in class. All examples in class are off-topic. He is not a good teacher. My biggest complaint about this class is the lab, there's no maual, it's just something he wrote and printed out. And they're all disastrous. As for the class, it's similar. Horrible The lab for this class was a complete disaster EVERY time we met. This is not his first time teaching this course, yet he hasn't bothered to fix the mistakes. Nothing makes any sense and every lab report is impossible to do. His tests are insanely long and his questions are never clear. this guy thinks he's amazing. he's not. i hate his pretentious attitude and the way he loves to hear himself talk. all he does is lecture at you and hit on the girls in the class. the class isn't even mildly interesting. it isn't really hard though, but thats the only plus.ENVHUM 2005-04-06 18:39:23 +0000 UTC
I have him for Environment and Humankind. This guy is swervy to the max. Besides his 80s sense of style, the class isn't too hard. He takes all the science out which is good since we aren't science majors. The tests are pretty hard but studying helps.BIOU145 2003-11-12 21:50:20 +0000 UTC
Adrian is pretty nice. He has kind of a weird intimidating way of talking but he's also like feet tall, so that my be unavoidable. I would almost recommend NOT buying the text for this course, he doesn't really use it, just gives us pages of notes to read on blackboard.
