Class is boring and useless, I went to every one and it did not help. She is obsessed with these weird case studies and bases too much of the final and midterm on them. Make sure you get a good group for your SIM or you are screwed.MKTG2201 2024-05-04 13:31:49 +0000 UTC
If you pay attention in lectures and reference lecture slides you'll do great. She can be passive aggressive sometimes but it very funny and cares about participation and your learning.MKTG2201 2024-04-24 19:01:07 +0000 UTC
Easy professor to BS this requirement if you don't care about marketing - only need to go when she explains the group project. Midterm & final take-home on lockdown browser. Spent like 20min a week on this course and went to class all of like 5 times, ending with an A. Super annoying lectures though (just don't go)MKTG2201 2024-04-24 00:30:21 +0000 UTC
Bad teacher. Bad notes and is not good at explaining them. Tests are online but the questions are not easy. Bike group project, if you do not have a good group you're in trouble. She gives a giant study guide but her notes dont even answer the questionsMKTG2201 2024-04-21 23:42:28 +0000 UTC
real bad lol, she might as well go and teach 4th graders.MKTG2201 2024-02-26 14:25:12 +0000 UTC
Prof Pei was very disorganized and frequently gave us conflicting directions on our projects. It was never clear where instructions were and when things were due. The class is easy if you pay a little attention and study the slides. she gives good prep for the tests.MKTG2201 2024-01-07 16:46:26 +0000 UTC
She is not the most interesting professor and the class isn't always the most engaging but the information is pretty straight forward. The final and midterm were online with a lockdown browser and they weren't very difficult if you study the slides. Sometimes the questions are worded weirdly which leads to students getting them wrong so look out.MKTG2201 2023-12-30 16:34:19 +0000 UTC
Is very disorganized. Class consistently started 10 minutes late due to her being incompetent with using her computer and slides. In-class activities never worked since she made them too confusing. The final and the midterm were online but very challenging. Her bonus point/participation system failed on week 2 and wasn't mentioned again.MKTG2201 2023-12-23 17:25:01 +0000 UTC
Professor Pei is a great teacher, she was very patient with all the students. I learned a lot from her lecture and homework.MKTG2201 2022-12-11 18:28:38 +0000 UTC
This is a very good professor, she provides very good after class feedbacks. Her exams and assignments should be easy as you follow her powerpoint. Don't know where those bad comments come from. I wouldn't say she is the funniest teacher, but her class is worth to take.MKTG2201 2022-12-08 01:22:07 +0000 UTC
AVOID AT ALL COST. She is hands down the worst professor ever. Every exam was curved by 30 points because she sets questions that she never covered. Participating 5 times every lesson does not equal full participation points. Her classes are messy and no one learnt anything. She made an intro level class feel like a level 5000 class.MKTG2201 2022-03-31 13:42:26 +0000 UTC
By far my least favorite professor at Northeastern, midterms and finals were given 30 point curves because they were way too hard, gave you low points for participation even if you participated 4-5 times per class, exams were extremely specific and rarely included anything we were taught, she graded on arbitrary things from the textbook no one knewMKTG2201 2022-02-03 19:41:17 +0000 UTC
Participation is a huge part of your grade and she only has 3 significant assignments all semester. She is sweet but doesn't give feedback on work & gets offended when you call her out for it. Very unprofessional. On another note, the material is easy & most of it is covered in class lectures. Not the absolute worst but i'll never take her again.MKTG2201 2021-12-20 02:15:45 +0000 UTC
Dude, there is not a chance I will have her class ever again. I would go to class having already read the slides and still needing coffee to stay awake. This is by far one of the most confusing participation model. Her exams are extremely specific, if you do not know it you're screwed. Could barely hear her in class as well. Won't recommend ever.MKTG2201 2021-12-15 04:18:02 +0000 UTC
Where do I begin - Professor Pei gave me by far and wide the most unique class experiences I've ever had. Without sharing my opinion, the following were some events: Exams had to be curved 30 points While attendance wasn't required, daily participation was, and not showing up meant 0 participation Minimal assignments to grade off of.MKTG2201 2021-12-15 04:17:35 +0000 UTC
