My only gripe with her was her grading. She is very nit-picky with grading, never giving you a 100% on assignments and your grade falls into the balance of true/false questions where if you get one wrong, you lose 1% of your overall grade. While Prof. Khan has her favorites, it really is not that bad. She likes the students that do what is expected of them. If you are not doing your work or showing up to class on time, then yeah she is not going to be as lenient with you. She requires students to sit in the front and not be late even for a minute, otherwise, she will question you in front of everyone when you enter the door. By the way, she is a bit discriminatory towards students who don't have American looks.6100 2025-03-21 20:29:06 +0000 UTC
Dr Kahn is certainly the worst teacher I have ever had. We missed multiple chapters of the text book and classes consisted of her going on extensive rants that are completely unrelated to any course content. Although this professor is very caring she calls on students randomly and will cut off your answer, she also does not give time to think and then will judge the answer (this judgement cut down on how much students openly participated). Khan is a very nice teacher, very easy online midterm/finals. No pop quizzes, textbook optional, highly encourages in-class participation. Sometimes, the class can feel a little long. This class is truly comical. I felt like I was on an episode of What Would You Do from day one until the exam. The prof cares about her students but has no idea what she is talking about. Her class really isn't that difficult but it is confusing. Her quizzes and lectures are all over the place. She even said herself that she doesn't make her own quizzes and tests so when it comes time for the actual exams it can get confusing because that stuff wasn't too focused on in class. This professor never gives out 100% on any projects. I think highest grade she will give is 95% at most and her feedback are unhelpful. She is sweet but can be stubborn and scary at times. Good person but very disorganized and confusing when lecturing. Never has proper due dates and often forgets student Qs, assignment dates, or her own announcements. Discussion Qs every week, couple of group projects, and 1 midterm and 1 final both just answering 1 question.
