Really knowledgeable professor and all around good guy. Pretty hard grader, but really knows his stuff. Great teacher if you attend class and take good notesECON115 2011-01-11 09:24:42 +0000 UTC
He hardly explains anything well. Then gives homework and mid-terms beyond what he explained. All copying over-head slides. He grades extremely hard. 2 Mid-terms, 6 homework assignments (graded, lowest dropped) and a final. mid-terms harder than you think. I thought i did really well on both, got low Bs on both of them.ECON1115 2009-12-03 15:39:37 +0000 UTC
Cares about the studentsECN115 2009-09-18 00:32:05 +0000 UTC
He's very dedicated and explains things well, especially if you go to office hours. Can tell he really cares about the students.ECON100 2009-09-18 00:28:30 +0000 UTC
Terrible teacher. Very unclear about the material. First test was very easy, but the final was impossible unless you were an expert on the topic. If he is your professor, drop the class or switch to another one immediately.ENC115 2009-08-02 03:26:49 +0000 UTC
Worst teacher I have had by far. So boring he will put you to sleep. Harshest grader possible. If you get him you have 2 choices: withdraw or fail. Someone please figure out how to get him fired.ECNU115 2009-04-27 21:05:05 +0000 UTC
Give him some time. He has an accen, yes, but u get used to it and he lets u correct him. Testing was hard but got better as the year went on. First midterm was ridiculous, and i think he realized it and made adjustments to the next one and final. He really does know his stuff and does want you do succeed despite the difficult testing. Go to class.ECON101 2008-07-27 23:36:47 +0000 UTC
His accent's thick and that's the reason I did bad in the class. He is knowledgeable about the material though.ECN201 2008-05-25 18:02:44 +0000 UTC
He is not a bad guy, if you go to his office hours he is very helpful. you can tell he means well just has a hard time getting some material across. exams are difficult but if you work hard and study you will do decent. I got a c+ in his class but could have done much better had i kept up with the material. Accent is kinda thick tho.ECN116 2008-02-28 02:58:52 +0000 UTC
DONT take this class. He barely speaks English and it is SO hard to understand him in class. ALso, on tests you need to have your answers basically word for word with his definition or else you get 0 credit for the question. The only good thing about this class is he curves the class, only because he wants the average grade in the class to be C+/B-ECNU116 2008-01-02 18:20:38 +0000 UTC
Very difficult and terrible, unless you read the book and go to his office. Also his accent is EXTREMLY annoying.ECN115 2008-08-21 01:20:42 +0000 UTC
The first few classes do suck, but he's not really a bad teacher. You get used to the accent very quickly and if you go to class and pay attention you'll do fine. Tests are very fair and if you study the material they're no problem.ECNU115 2009-04-02 11:28:07 +0000 UTC
Pretty decent professor, kind of has a harsh grading curve but it's resonable for the hard working students. Tests mimic the homework assignments and textbook follows the class material.ECN115 2008-04-23 12:02:26 +0000 UTC
This guy is a very bad teacher. he lectures the entire class with a hard to understand accent. He doesn't take questions well, and ridicules students and belittles them when they ask questions. Not a very welcoming atmosphere in his classes. Don't take any classes with him.ECNU115 2008-11-05 21:13:11 +0000 UTC
His tests were ridiculously hard.ECNU115 2008-04-28 23:04:50 +0000 UTC
