Organized, clear, and engaging. The professor does a really good job breaking down complex ideas using structured discussions and questions. You'll do really well if you keep up with the readings and participate in your group assignments. Briggs might not the best at explaining what's going to be in the test but she is very helpful if you go to her office hours. She tries really hard to cover the material and just like a lot of students think she is a bad professor, I did too. But I found out that she actually just started teaching her first classes ever! if you have to take bio, dont take her. Sometimes she answers a student's question and then changes it after thinking about it or answers with I'm not sure. I wish this professor engaged the class for this seminar. For the final exam, there was no guidance prior to help students determine how to prepare for it. First time exam in the semester.
