Class is boring but honestly if you submit your work it's almost impossible to get less than a BBIOL2299 2025-01-15 22:20:15 +0000 UTC
From what I've heard about the other Inquiries professors, Dr. Nick is solid. The semester started rough (harsh grading mostly), but he listened to feedback and adjusted accordingly. His lectures are long and hard to follow, but he gives extra credit points on exams and quizzes (on Canvas, in class). There is a final, but overall not a bad class.2299 2024-04-23 19:32:30 +0000 UTC
He is very nice and obviously very passionate about his work. My biggest problem with the class was his lecture style. Class was 100 minutes long and he lectured nearly the entire time. He does introduce some group activities about twice a class, but it was very difficult to pay attention. Gives 10 extra credit points on exams though which is nice.BIOL2299 2025-01-07 18:51:51 +0000 UTC
Dr. T is nice and give feedback on poster projects. His exams are not bad and he gives 10 extra credit questions on exams, even the final. However, his course is very lecture heavy and there are always two or more readings due over the weekend that are usually 10+ pages each. Be prepared to spend your entire weekends looking at research papers.BIOL2299 2024-12-11 20:31:26 +0000 UTC
He was extremely knowledgeable in his field, but he did not know how to interact with students. He would leave unecessarily harsh comments on assignments and would take off points for things that weren't in the rubric. Tests/quizzes weren't too difficult, but he was extremely unclear about how he was grading assignments.BIOL2299 2024-05-01 03:01:22 +0000 UTC
