Dr. Dan was an amazing professor! He is super understanding and takes his students thoughts about the course into deep consideration. The class wasn't easy, but he offers a lot of additional help and resources. My number one piece of advice is to do the Aktiv practice problems before each test because they actually help so much!CHEM1161 2025-05-01 14:01:53 +0000 UTC
The professor is a very nice and helpful person and will answer anything you ask. Lectures are okay, but the tests are hard and cover literally every detail that he might only spend 1 minute talking about. Practices and reviews are significantly easier than the actual test, which is very frustrating since you never know how hard the test can be.CHEM1161 2024-07-26 05:24:49 +0000 UTC
Loved Matthews for CHEM1161. Caring prof who wants his students to do well. Class can be pretty fast-paced but he has very useful office hours. I would def recommend attending lectures and staying on top of notes because the material for the exams can build up pretty fast. He doesn't curve tests but gives good partial credit!CHEM1161 2024-05-02 19:19:14 +0000 UTC
Dr. Dan is good however, he does not explain somethings as clearly. He does have a lot of support and additional videos and practices to do but the practices are very easy compared to the actual test.CHEM1161 2024-04-29 16:51:33 +0000 UTC
