Entire grade is based off of three tests including the final. He's teaching style just really annoyed me in general, he just reads off the PowerPoints and won't know your name in a class of 40. WORST teacher I had so far. He was VERY unclear and boring, hard to follow, comments unrelated to material, very unhelpful, only three test (including final), he basically just quotes the book like if he is reading it without really explaining the material, and rewrites the book in the power points. Excellent. Very clear. Do the weekly assigned HW and you will basically understand how the midterm and final will be. Not easy or hard. Great Micro teacher, really easy schedule of quizes and tests no HW and if you go to class you won't need to really study. He posts everything online for you to look at including extra questions on concepts from lectures.ECON1116 2013-11-21 23:14:34 +0000 UTC
It is an easy A class as long as you can understand the material. His PPT is really helpful and you don't need the textbook at all. If you have question, he will explain to you very detaily in email. Hom is a great prof. Previous reviewer probably just didn't study much -- the exams are very similar to assigned homework. He is also very clear in class and loves giving real world examples.
