DJ is one of the best professors I have ever had. His lectures are super informative, and all lectures are recorded live on zoom if you cannot make it to class. The two exams are a little tricky, and there is a skills practical, but he works with students during lab to ensure everyone can master the content. Took Basic Clinical Skills with DJ, both the class itself and DJ were great! Definitely learned skills that were extremely helpful for co-op interviews. It's a easy class with a majority of online assignments and a practical exam at the end. Jolliest prof ever. He is so enthusiastic about teaching EMS that you just naturally succeed in his class. If you show up to lectures and put in the work, you will 1) be jolly af and 2) succeed in the class. Basic Clinical Skills was one of my favorite classes that I've taken so far. You get CPR certified in this class and learn a lot of useful skills for coop. He is very quick with emails and extremely knowledgable. He's genuinely one of the best professors that I've ever had. I love his lecture style, and he gives amazing feedback in simulation labs and class. This has been by far my favorite class at Northeastern, and DJ is the main reason! He and the other instructors for the course are so knowledgeable and really want you to succeed.
