Prof Richman was easily the best professor I've ever had! Her passion for nutrition is so evident and encourages questions. Her quizzes (5 total) are very easy, and she basically tells you exactly what will be on them before the quiz. They are the take-home messages at the end of each slideshow. Take her nutrition class! I learned a lot without having to work a lot and it's a pretty interesting course and I actually changed my diet and lifestyle based on some of the things I learned in class. Probably the sweetest teacher I have ever had. She is exactly like a mom and willing to help anyone. Although going to class is not necessary at ALL, it is still interesting and you can get an A without going. Such a nice woman who is really into her field. Dr.Richman's lectures are amazing and insightful. Attendance is not mandatory but just attending the lectures is enough information to do well on quizzes. The class is made 40% off two easy assignments that take a day and she gives you the word for word questions that are on each of the 5 quizzes and the final. Highly recommend her class! Professor Richman is such an empathetic & caring professor. She's accommodating for people with disabilities. I struggled with medical & mental health issues & she was always willing to support me in any way. The quizzes can be tricky so make sure to memorize the study guides. Prof Richman has a fair to easy class, and as long as you put in a little effort and start working on the 2 major assignments around a week in advance it is hard not to get an A.
