Plant Bio with Cheney was a great class. There is a lot to study for the tests, but you will learn a lot. Cheney is an awesome, very understanding professor and honestly, if you don't take a class with him, you are missing out. This was a pretty easy class. The course load was normal for a science class ( 3 tests, 1 paper), but the tests were easy. The guest lecturers from Germany that came for a week were really interesting, and I did not have a hard time understanding them. Plant bio was not a very good class. I ended up with a good grade, but I worked hard for it. He's a really nice guy and the last few lectures were helpful. Plant bio is easy if you put in at least a little bit of work. Cheney is an awesome guy, absolute space cadet, sometimes repetitive but super clear about what will be on the exams (which aren't cumulative, including final). Plant biology was pretty easy, but he did not teach it well. He would read from the slides and give no additional information. He makes attendance mandatory so no one will miss a class, even though he posts the slides online.
