Passionate and well prepared for class. Homework's will prepare you well for tests and exams but you must do the reading. The professor is very flexible if you communicate with him before hand and is extremely nice. Professor Rixey is hands down the best professor I have ever gotten. He is caring, sweet and makes sure that everyone is heard. Attendance is graded but you can skip class if you have a valid reason and let him know. The class is homework heavy with up to 3+ hours of work a week but its all pretty easy stuff.
