Dr. A was such a great professor -- his lectures were very clear as well as what was to be expected on exams. Tests did require a good amount of studying, but what else do you expect from a Bio class. For lab, he was very helpful and guided us in the proper direction when we needed it.BIOL2321 2015-02-02 11:40:47 +0000 UTC
Dr. A was great. Passionate about the subject and always gives help when asked. Just don't make him angry - you will feel the consequences. :O( Overall a great experience having him.BIOL1120 2014-05-03 15:10:03 +0000 UTC
I took Biology and Society with Dr. A, and it was the most interesting class I've ever taken. He's engaging and makes the material really interesting. I would leave class and want to tell everyone about it. Tests and quizzes are very easy if you show up to class, listen, and take notes.BIOL1143 2013-11-21 22:04:26 +0000 UTC
Really good teacher, thorough, useful factsBIO1010 2013-02-18 00:52:31 +0000 UTC
I took Micro with Dr. A in a 5 week accelerated course. He is really tough. Good notes and studying are essential. He's pretty good at telling you a lot of questions that will pop up on tests during lectures. Everything's cumulative, but he takes a lot of questions from previous tests and quizzes. Tough but really not bad.MICRO101 2011-09-23 20:42:57 +0000 UTC
Amazing professor. Always interesting. Everything ont he test had been said in class. If you went to class and took good notes the 3 tests were no problem at allBIOBIO 2007-10-14 23:51:02 +0000 UTC

I am currently taking this course at Quincy and its tough. Only 3 exams and they are in depth questions. I am stressed out about passing this course. His lecture's are good, interesting, but they don't usually relate to the exams directly even though he says they do. You need to study a lot of material for these exams, typically 3-4 chapters per exBIO101 2006-11-12 21:15:42 +0000 UTC
This class was a joke. So easy. Don't let the freshmen comments throw you. Not a bad guy. 3 tests are all you have to worry about. I mean c'mon, it's a 100 level course. Took him for microbio. Again he's not that bad.BIO145 2006-04-25 17:32:56 +0000 UTC
very hard!need to study a lot, slides are useless but very helpful in office hours.only 3 cummulative tests all grades are from there.BIOU117 2006-08-04 15:34:31 +0000 UTC
Very difficult class, with only 3 tests the whole year, cumulative. Be prepared to go to every class, take good notes, and study a lot for every test.BIO145 2006-02-02 10:45:44 +0000 UTC
Very interesting guy but a terrible professor. All he cares about is his research for some stupid kind of mouse. His lectures are long and boring although he does put all of the powerpoint slides on blackboard for students to use to study. Doesn't give homework or quizzes. You essentially have to know EVERYTHING from your notes for the tests.BIO145 2006-01-24 17:49:59 +0000 UTC
