Dr. Jones was easily the best professor I had at NU. He's not easy, you have to pay attention in class, and there will always be something from every lecture on the tests. Goes on tangents and loves to lecture students about unrelated topics. His tests are extremely difficult and usually test on obscure concepts that he barely mentioned in one of his tangents. best teacher at nu, though can come off as arrogant. If you study and actually go to class you will pass with at least a B, if you skip class and dont take notes and look down your nose at the subject and the prof, obviously you will fail; tests are not hard, they literally ask what is in lecture; dont put down a prof bc of the grade you earned.ZOOORNITHWILD 2006-06-26 17:32:51 +0000 UTC

As a freshman class it can come as a shock. He does curve as his tests seem to be considered ridiculous. He uses similiar tests every year, so if you don't cover something it still might be on a test. This class is no longer offered on semesters.BIO1102 2003-05-29 18:37:07 +0000 UTC

He's a little odd, kinda talks down to you in class though he says he doesnt, and has a weird sense of humor. but outside of class he's fine to talk to, is very clear about what he expects out of you and is very understanding in cases such as illness during finals week as long as you let him know.HONR1206 2011-01-24 16:23:04 +0000 UTC
Dr. Jones is very intelligent and knows a LOT. He is also very proud. Treat him with major respect (even if you're faking it) and listen up cuz the stuff he's saying is fantastic.
