Non tech savvy, incompetent teacher, teaches horribly extremely simple and uninteresting concepts, but the quizzes are hyper specific and it is absolutely not clear how to prepare for this class. The material is extremely simple, yet the grading is unforgiving. NEVER TAKE THIS ONLINE CLASS.MARKETING 2025-12-02 02:05:12 +0000 UTC
I actually like marketing a lot, she ruined this course with unclear and strict grading standards. I've met bad professors, but trust me she is the WORST. Anyway it's a lesson I learned from blood and tears, make sure you get far away from her.MKTG2209 2021-03-10 16:02:57 +0000 UTC
It's a shame that she is retiring, because she has been the best marketing professor I've had at Northeastern so far. It was a heavy workload, but she set high expectations for her students and forced us to look at case studies in a unique and challenging way.MKTG2201 2018-04-26 14:23:42 +0000 UTC
All I will say is, I changed my concentration AWAY from marketing because of her. Awful, disrespectful, barks at students. I had an interview once and emailed her in advance letting her know I wont be able to make it but I can come at the end for the evaluations (they are graded) she told me not too and took points off which dropped my grade.MKTG3301 2017-12-20 11:24:11 +0000 UTC
I did not enjoy being in Professor's Sieloff course. It was an online class, and the homework was never very clear and she was very bad with emails. I would ask questions via email and her response were never helpful. It being an online class, I was at least expecting some more feedback through email and more support, but there was none.MKT201 2016-02-03 16:59:00 +0000 UTC
I would take her class again if that was even possible. She is the most entertaining person I have ever seen in my Northeastern life. You HAVE to go to classes though. I really enjoyed her class because she taught us the concepts in a very entertaining way. Loved her class even though I passed with a C+. I must warn you; the exams are really hard!DONTREMEMBER 2015-01-13 13:52:11 +0000 UTC
Some people found her abrasive, I think Siel Team 6 is just misunderstood. Really passionate, definitely strict though. Certainly far from an easy A, but getting a good grade is not impossible.MKTGINTR 2012-12-12 11:17:01 +0000 UTC
She is a good teacher, she has some flaws though.CBAU101 2009-04-07 01:34:07 +0000 UTC
GO TO CLASS!!!! she will notice if you don't. do the assignments, ask questions, be involved. If you do this, she will love you and you're good to go. If you don't care about the class, she won't care about you. She plays favorites a little, but overall she's a good teacher who knows her stuff.CBA101 2008-11-14 14:54:52 +0000 UTC
If she likes you, she likes you and you're fine, otherwise, watch out. Overall, she is a good professor and explains the material well. The way she words her exam questions is not good and though you may know the material that she is asking for solid, the question will confuse you and you will not understand what she is looking for. Overall, decentMKTU201 2008-01-04 01:14:51 +0000 UTC
This class will become like a plague if you let it. Just get everything done in a timely fashion and it wont pile up at the end of the semester.INTROBUS 2006-11-13 22:26:22 +0000 UTC
She made the class very interesting. Good insight. Easy project. An overall easy professor.INTRODOBUS 2006-02-15 15:45:08 +0000 UTC
Nice teacher..Our class failed all the quizzes so she threw them away. However, not very helpful with the TJX project. We were left on our own to do everything. project was ugh but we got through it with a good grade. Enough saidINTROTOB 2005-12-22 17:01:54 +0000 UTC
i thought her teaching style for this higher level class was inadequate. she seems to lecture quite a bit and doesn't relate topics to real world enough. overall, mediocreMKTRETAILING 2005-12-03 02:37:35 +0000 UTC
Knows a lot but sometimes her lectures compared to the book are a bit confusing but deff study her slides for tests and you'll ace them. Do your interesting hws, go to class, and show up on time...you'll get an a!INTOMKT201 2005-05-12 18:01:34 +0000 UTC
