I enjoyed this course very much! If you just attend classes and focus on materials posted on Blackboard you will be good. Professor Kale makes you work for it but it is all worth at the end. 10/10.FINA4320 2019-12-10 17:11:44 +0000 UTC
80% of whole final grade is composed of only two exams, so he needs to restructure how the grades are evaluated. The final had 8 questions and 7 of them almost had the same wording as homework questions - And he posts homework solutions online. The reason why this class is difficult is not the tests, but his ineffective grading criteria.FINA4608 2017-12-11 17:56:01 +0000 UTC
The class is very interesting and challenging (in a good way) overall. However, the way exams are graded is very unclear and confusing. Focus mainly on material posted by the professor and HW assignments to get a good grade.FINA4320 2019-11-05 20:43:32 +0000 UTC
Teaches a lot of interesting material. However, he won't test you on it. Tests are way too difficult and they are worth 80% of your grade. I'd assume this professor devotes about 10% of his time caring about his class and 90% of his time conducting research elsewhere. For tests you have to study 100 possible problems - he'll test you on 6 max.FINA4608 2017-12-11 16:31:41 +0000 UTC
