The online aspect really made this course hard for me, but for others. than, the class was a good course with a great professor.MKTG2209 2025-12-15 04:09:05 +0000 UTC
Very tough professor who rarely gives feedback. He will grade by criteria not listed on the rubrics (if there is one).MGT4850 2025-08-23 18:24:53 +0000 UTC
It's ok. Quizzes weekly on Respondus w webcam, but the questions aren't insanely hard. They rely on what you read in the textbook, so you do have to study. The simulation he makes you do is actually the area that I learned the most from, but it is graded way too harshly. Only one person got above a B- and it's 20% of ur grade.MKTNG2201 2025-06-22 07:42:48 +0000 UTC
This Professor has pros and cons. Cons: Tough grader, unclear instructions. Heavy workload. Pros: Approachable, quick grader, great communicator-gets back to you very quickly. Overall due to unclear instructions and not knowing what I could do to get a good grade, I would not recommend this Professor.BUSN1101 2023-12-10 19:15:53 +0000 UTC
He's strict on homework and tests are hard but presentations aren't bad. Just pay attention in class and put in the time out of class.BUSN1102 2015-12-01 18:28:41 +0000 UTC
He's a great guy overall. Very understanding and grades reasonably. The tests are hard and come mainly from the textbooks but to understand the concepts better you should still pay attention in class. I managed to pull of an A after hours of reading the textbook and going over the ppts but I'd definitely take him unless you want the easy way outINTROTOMKTG 2014-12-11 21:16:00 +0000 UTC
Honestly, chill professor esp with deadlines.. js make sure to let him know in less than a week after the assignment. He has biweekly quizzes and discussion posts. Final group project sucks if ur group is buns but oh well. Finished with a 91 and it was asynchronous. Pretty easy if you put in a minimum # of work.MKTG2209 2025-12-11 01:42:16 +0000 UTC
Requires you to download malware (lockdown browser) for tests which, let's be honest, is useless because smartphones, 2nd computer, roomates... Sends pretentious emails, often lacks punctuation. No feedback on homeworks unless you ask for it which is fine if I wasn't paying for the class.MKTNG2201 2020-05-22 01:21:32 +0000 UTC
Really accessible: literally spent two hours answering all my questions with great patience. He's kinda a tough grader and asks for a looot but I really liked him. Go to class and do the readings you'll be fine. Ask questions and think of everything possible when writing essays and doing projects you'll do great.BUSN1101 2017-04-01 02:22:37 +0000 UTC
Professor Sieloff is knowledgeable and nice but makes the work meticulous for no reason. Online accounting was not a hard class overall but he made the assignments super time consuming. Group projects were a huge part of the grade and he is strict on grading everything.MKTG2209 2024-01-08 22:29:20 +0000 UTC
The class itself is easy/common sense, but Sieloff manages to make it harder than it should be. Don't get me wrong, he's a great lecturer and always gives relevant and interesting examples. But, his tests are extremely detail oriented and he's a hard grader when it comes to homework. I had to work REALLY hard in this class, but got an A in the end.MKTNG2201 2013-05-05 21:20:49 +0000 UTC
Really nice guy, unclear with paper/hw expectations. Easy to skip class as lectures were rarely relevant to the hw or presentations.BUSN1101 2017-03-23 13:15:41 +0000 UTC
He's a nice enough guy but going to class felt pointless because he just reads from a powerpoint. He is very tough grader, and usually won't do partial credit for math problems which sucks. Tests where hard because he wouldn't give detail about what we were being tested on. Textbook is ESSENTIAL as half of his test is based off of it.MKTG2209 2018-04-18 15:16:36 +0000 UTC
Although he doesn't give much guidance on the semester-long project, he has clear grading criteria. The tests are hard, but you can do well if you just read the chapter and look over his powerpoint. Class is a challenge but definitely not impossible.BUSN1101 2016-04-15 11:38:34 +0000 UTC
Sieloff was my section's professor for the on-line class. He is a bit tough when it comes to grading HW and participation, but the quizzes were very easy. He was also extremely understanding when my group ran into issues for the group project. I would definitely recommend him.MKTG2209 2012-12-18 06:17:11 +0000 UTC
