One of if not the best professor I've had at NEU. I'm not one to talk in class but she created an environment where I felt comfortable to discuss the topics in class. Lectures were long but she made them really interesting. Super accessible outside of class and understanding when it comes to assignments. Maybe one of the best professors I've had at NEU. Truly passionate about health policy, and she makes all the covered topics as engaging as possible. Grade is made up of a couple of different class discussions, presentations, and a final policy presentation + memo. Very nice professor; however, it is a very lecture-heavy class with often boring topics, so if you aren't engaging, you will not have fun. She does try to make it as engaging as possible though. Hands down one of the best professors I've ever had. She's hilarious and so sweet. She made the most boring topics interesting and comprehensible. Grading is based on two papers, a midterm, debates, and participation. She made sure everyone was engaged and on track throughout the whole semester. She was amazing. She was very passionate about everything she taught. American healthcare system was an incredibly valuable course especially for future providers. Participation was incredibly important. She was a very fair grader, offered extra credit, and cancelled the final exam because we had a research paper.
