Although there is a lot of work he gives us to do, and some required to be completed, they make the exams way easier. I highly recommend paying attention in class because one miss and it'll take a bit for you to catch up. Overall he's a really good professor and shows passion for what he teaches. Prof. Depasquale definitely wasn't well equipped to be teaching all of general chemistry in one semester for the first time and gave little to no feedback on the coursework we did. The class is challenging but if you keep up with all of the material you will do well. Not the biggest fan of Depasquale though, I had asked him a few questions after class before and he talked down to me like I was an idiot. DePasquale was a great professor. He took the liberty of memorizing students names and was always helpful when questions were asked. Lectures are a bit slow-paced, which made it easier to understand. I think Professor DePasquale was a great instructor, my only issue with his class was that it was extremely fast paced, and if you miss a class it was hard to catch up without putting in a bunch of time outside of class. Learned a lot in this class. Lectures are very helpful, thorough, and easy to understand. The nature of the material is very difficult, however, and so the fact that the class is almost solely based on 4 toughly-graded exams it can be very stressful. Professor DePasquale is a good lecturer and covers everything you need to know for the test. If you want to do well though, you do have to spend a lot of time outside of class working on problems and reviewing concepts. I really liked DePasquale for his lecture style. He is pretty fast paced with lectures but I thought they were very well organized and easy to follow. Professor DePasquale is a passionate and knowledgeable professor. His lectures are VERY heavy and FAST PACED. He his always available after lectures for questions. He's a solid guy and a very fair grader. The FRQ's are similar to the recitation material but the MCQs are difficult. Only negative side is that the man doesn't breathe.
