Deravi is very clear and kind, despite her few math mistakes. Her 3 tests and final are fair and midterms have test corrections (just ask). Her homeworks are helpful and in class assignments. Professor Deravi was an amazing Gen Chem Prof. She made sure she was accessible at office hours and that there were opportunities for extra credit on the exams. Professor Deravi is truly the best! You can definitely tell she cares for her students and she is very accessible outside of class for help during office hours. Extremely friendly, and lectures are very clear with plenty of examples. Always available outside of office hours and flexible if you have other conflicts. Course itself is fast-paced but she offers plenty of in-class practice and the homework/recitation has a lot of practice too.
