Dr. D was quite rude. Anytime anybody had a question about ANYTHING it was met with a snarky response. She loved chewing kids out in class. Her class was super easy tho, you don't even have to read the papers and can do class from zoom. I really thought her class wasn't that bad. It was an interesting topic and all you have to do is follow her instructions TO A T! Do not deviate from the instructions. She gives you example work and all you have to do is follow the directions and you will get an A. very sweet woman but she really does not need to be in the classroom. She belongs in the lab working with algae. She can make an interesting topic boring and will have you read 5 papers about the same thing. She has weirdly specific criteria on the final poster. Dr. D is obviously a very knowledgeable and intelligent person, however she reads off the slides and does not include much personal insight to discussed topics. She truly wants everyone to understand and participate, but will often leave you feeling belittled if you get something incorrect.
