Took Macro with her, and the most notable thing about her is that if you want to get a good grade, you will need to learn a lot in her class. Not a perfect professor, but a good, challenging one.ECON401 2011-07-16 16:01:35 +0000 UTC
Took Macro Theory with her. One of the best professors I've come across. She clearly loves the subject, and teaches it very well. She's well-qualified and extremely helpful and approachable. She made me LOVE macroeconomics--that should say enough!ECON2315 2011-04-27 13:32:36 +0000 UTC
One of the best teachers in Macroeconomics. She gave me fundamentals in Macro Theory that put the foundations on me on the Logic of Macro economy.ECNU2 2011-02-21 05:01:39 +0000 UTC
She tries to be as engaging as possible. Boring subject tho. Midterm and a final. Difficult, but lets you get some points back. Is always available for help. Really wants us to learn. As for the previous comment, she is as nice and understanding as can be. She may have snubbed you bc you were rude, disruptive, with a know-it-all attitude.ECNU640 2007-11-21 23:21:00 +0000 UTC
very clear.. old school traditional style; but gives you several opportunities to correct your grade if you mess up at firstECN315 2007-04-02 09:39:13 +0000 UTC
Very nice and helpful. Good at explaining, will help if you don't understand, and gives a huge amount of practice quizzes and tests that you should definitely utilize. She can make macro very interesting when it could be very boring. Never skip or come late, she will notice. Usually curves grades. I got an A, but worked a bit harder than most.ENCU150 2006-08-22 17:52:10 +0000 UTC
She really wants students to understand the concepts she is teaching. Her notes are very detailed and she is most willing to help. One of the things I really appreciate is that she doesn't assume you know material. She meets you were you are in you understanding of the material.MACRO 2006-02-07 20:03:57 +0000 UTC
Very nice and always willing to help, but the midterm and final always seemed much harder than the material discussed in class.PRINOFMACRO 2006-01-16 20:22:37 +0000 UTC
hard to follow takes material way too seroiusly and is condescending when asked questions. never lets class go early!!MACROTHEORY 2006-01-10 16:26:04 +0000 UTC
Hard hard class. Material seems straightforward, unfortunately her exams are not. Exams are really too tough and too much thinking outside the box on an exam!.Also class was boring at times. Dont recommend her for this class at all.ECNU315 2005-12-21 07:31:48 +0000 UTC
She is a nice person, she takes her teaching job very seriously. Unfortunately Intro classes tend to be boring. She would probably be a great teacher if the class wasnt intro. She hates when you are late and takes notice if you skip.ECNU115 2005-10-28 14:51:02 +0000 UTC
I have never had a class where I had to study so much in my life. Granted I'm not an Econ or Business major; however, the material is quite engaging. LP does her best to help you understand. She gives a very objective POV (balancing left and right theories). She hates it when you are late to class, because I would know. Be there and be attentive.MACROECON 2005-09-15 11:42:37 +0000 UTC
Good Professor. Took Macro freshman year and remeber it being easy. Does not grade harshly at all. Fairly clear yet helpful when students had questions. Good prof. made me more interested in Econ.MACROECN 2004-10-24 16:59:49 +0000 UTC
