Note that Professor Jenkins now teaches at UNCC. Professor Jenkins is possibly the best professor in the entire Belk College of Business. No professor has been able to inspire as much discussion and eagerness to learn, especially about actually relevant and important topics than him. I enjoyed his course more than any other course here. Take him!MKTG3210 2022-03-24 18:48:21 +0000 UTC
Professor Jenkins is amazing. He is so patient with all his students and understanding when we have problems. The entire class is based around a marketing simulation that makes up almost the whole grade, alongside a few exams. Not too much homework outside of class aside from projects. Such a nice guy!MKTG2201 2021-04-25 16:45:28 +0000 UTC
Most lenient grader I've ever had, most assignments are 100% if you just do them. Tests are very easy multiple choice questions so overall not a bad class to take.MKTG2201 2021-04-23 16:23:36 +0000 UTC
Jenkins is a FANTASTIC professor. His lectures are so beyond good that you don't even need to read the textbook at times. He explains everything extremely well and uses videos and real-life examples to make concepts more tangible. Had three tests which were all MCQ and weren't hard. Just a fantastic teacher and a great guy. Highly recommend!MKTG2201 2021-04-22 16:19:24 +0000 UTC
Proj J is amazing! He curates weekly emails that summarize what we'll be doing in class. A total of 3 exams (50 mc q: quite easy -- make sure you read the textbook & know the terms/definitions. There is a semester long bike stimulation marketplace project (not bad) and assignments based off of it. He's younger so he really understands his students!MKTG2201 2021-03-29 18:11:32 +0000 UTC
Prof Jenkins is a great option for intro to marketing. The class basically had 3 exams that had 50 MCQs each, which were really quite easy, along with a bike marketplace simulation with a presentation for that (graded really easily). As long as you either attend lectures or read textbook, easy A. Prof Jenkins is a really good prof and accessible.MKTG2201 2020-12-21 06:14:39 +0000 UTC
Overall not a bad professor. His lectures tie in a lot of real world examples, but sometimes was a little unclear in his instructions. Class is determined by a few tests and big group project simulation. Study the material and listen in class and shouldn't be a problem.MKTG2201 2020-10-30 06:48:19 +0000 UTC
super helpful and resourceful professor! 100% best decision to take this class with himMKTG2201 2020-05-05 18:47:57 +0000 UTC
Prof Jenkins is a great professor! He knows a lot about marketing and teaches really well with interesting lectures with real-life examples. He encourages the class to participate and ask questions. Very accessible during office hours! His tests are very easy and doable if you do the reading (an easy A-/A class with some effort).MKTG2201 2020-04-16 22:50:27 +0000 UTC
Prof. Jenkins is a great professor who does his best at keep long lectures interesting by fielding discussions, showing interesting videos/real world examples, and encouraging participation (w/o cold calling which is great). He often prompts the class to ask him questions if there are any doubts and often reminds us of his office hours. Genuine manMKTG2201 2019-12-09 19:00:05 +0000 UTC
I had a great year with professor Jenkins. He is a good professor that is truly passionate about this field of study and shares that enthusiasm with every student. Every assignment had clear grading criteria and was scored very objectively and fairly.MKTG2201 2019-12-07 00:16:53 +0000 UTC
Professor Jenkins is a legitimate caring guy that wants the best for his students. His lectures are informative and teach the important information necessary to do well on tests and group work. He is a fair grader with clear criteria for each assignment. 100% would recommendMKTG2201 2019-12-07 00:13:06 +0000 UTC
Very engaging, and while participation is required, the professor makes it very easy to be part of the discussion. Lectures on PowerPoint slides are typical, however there are interesting examples and anecdotes thrown in to stay interested in relevant topics.MKTG2201 2019-11-27 06:13:46 +0000 UTC
He makes the classes more discussion based so they're not boring and gives everyone chances to participate - participation is important for this class. The lectures are mostly powerpoints that are posted before class. Exams are all multiple choice which can be a challenge, but Prof Jenkins is great overall and is often available for office hoursMKTG2201 2019-11-22 19:14:48 +0000 UTC
Most classes consist of lectures with powerpoint slides on book chapters. There's a group simulation required for this course. It's pretty easy but, pick your group wisely. The exams are usually questions directly from the book but can be difficult. Participation is a big part of the grade. Jenkins is understanding, overall a good choice.MKTG2201 2019-11-22 17:24:30 +0000 UTC
