Dr Bracken wonderful! (ctd). Because it is an intense writing science class, a research paper 20+ pgs counts about 30% of the grade, but u'll learn a lot about writing a research papr! Prof is easy to approach and promptly respond to emails (w/in a day at max). if ur a good note taker u r guaranteed an A, and DO NOT buy the book. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS! I'm a bio major so i know what hard classes are like, but this class is beyond ridiculous.Covers a chapter/day.Must know EVERY tiny fact for exams. Exam is all free response-if you leave out one detail it's wrong. Very few passed 1st 2 exams. Dr Bracken wonderful! I had no interest in marine bio before taking this course. He truly do his best to make the material light and fun.Exams have short answers, essay questions, & match.
