Great guy! Passionate and good at teaching. It's maybe 3-5 hours of homework a week which I'd say is below average for engineering classes. Extremely interesting course material and exams are very fair. I didn't study much, but did all the homeworks, and got consistent Bs. Can't complain. Professor Eckelman is a really really really nice guy who knows so so much about this course. This course is of course extremely difficult but his pure amount of knowledge and passion makes it interesting. Take-home midterms are extremely challenging and the grading is quite difficult but it is manageable as is the homework.GE3300 2022-05-10 03:10:46 +0000 UTC
Eckleman is super genuine and really cares about his students. He's clearly passionate about what he teaches/is always prepared for class which makes lectures much more interesting to attend.
