I took it in Summer 2 so it was more fast face compared to a semester class. There are a lot of discussion posts but it's not that bad. I took her American Healthcare System class during Summer 2. Most of the time, the TA graded assignments, but sometimes they both left comments. Professor Roth included current events in her lectures/assignments and responded to emails quickly. She is always very nice and wishes the best for her students. I took her Am Health System class summer before 1st year which made me decide to minor in pub health. Interesting class that covers variety of topics. Easy grading and opportunities for extra credit (only reason I didn't get a 100 is b/c I didn't do a few assignments). I took Professor Roth's online, asynchronous Am Healthcare course. She managed to make the online environment feel collaborative through the use of discussion boards. Almost all assignments are discussion board replies, which she gives plenty of extra credit on for quality replies. Course is writing-heavy, but not demanding. Basically she just reads off the powerpoint slides and assigns us articles to read in class for a group discussion. Crazy easy class and she's the sweetest little thing who just genuinly wants everyone to do well. Tests are based of slide decks she posts on blackboard and our last exam was online.
