He expects a lot, but he gives you all the tools you need to do well in the course. More specifically, he goes over all the types of problems that will be on quizzes and exams. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED HIM!! hands down my favorite professor ever. he's right, the class and subject of economics isn't designed for those who don't have an intuitive understanding of the material, and he implies that. Trubskyy implies that you are stupid if you don't understand the material. Can be helpful if you go to his office hours, but is hard to understand in class, mostly because he thinks you should automatically understand it. Have to go to every single class cause he gives pop quizzes. If you miss one you can't make it up. I learned most from the book and homework mostly because the class consisted of lectures that moved too quickly. If you get lost it is very hard to get back on track. Worst teacher I have had at Northeastern. He can not explain anything well and is constantly proved wrong by students in the class. Takes him forever to get quizzes and tests back. Its a pretty reasonable class, As long as you keep up with the book and home work you are fine. He gives pop quizes that you can't make up but HW+quiz count for 10% of your grade so it doesn't matter. 'Misha' is a difficult teacher. He warns the class that students are going to fail and drop out before the end of the semester. However, he is very willing to help students if they put in the effort.
