Extremely disappointed with Boyson and 4604 overall. The class lectures did not have solid structure and were not time effective. The midterm was a pretty fair exam, but the final was extremely difficult with students having no practice with questions she was asking (practice exams were useless and had no in-class examples to work off of).FINA4604 2022-12-15 18:44:06 +0000 UTC
One of the best professors I've ever had. She goes the extra mile to help students (both in class and career), gives interesting, engaging lectures, and makes sure to give thorough, well-explained exercises and study resources. I love Professor Boyson. She is a hilarious professor, but definitely leads a very tough course. Her course was mostly based off of 2-3 tests and participation. The tests were also extremely difficult with averages ranging in the 40's-50's. Herthe deal with her: she is extremely nice, compassionante, and cares for her student's success. Nonetheless, she expects way too much from others and does not seem to realize how insanely harsh her grading is!
