Soukos is a nice eccentric professor. Many lectures will consist of him going on philosophical rants. Grade consists of a poster project, a lecture presentation (Between 45-90min), a midterm, and the final. The two exams are both based on memorization of 140+ slides of information. If you're great at straightforward memorization, take the courseBIOL2299 2025-12-24 02:16:38 +0000 UTC
All of these reviews were written by him. His class was awful. He talks down to students and regularly boasts about his achievements and intelligence. Never gives a rubric or feedback for any assignment. Have to "negotiate" your final grade at the end, but he just wants an opportunity to talk down to you. Save yourself.BIOL3421 2025-12-11 19:52:41 +0000 UTC
Great guy, truly cares about his students and wants you to get the highest grade you can possibly get. Gives you all the information you need to succeed.PHYS1122 2025-04-11 14:20:29 +0000 UTC
GREAT PROF!!!biot5401 2024-11-13 13:29:29 +0000 UTC
Soukos is a fantastic professor. He cares about his students, the message he delivers, and creating the best environment for a deeper level of understanding and knowledge. The midterm/final were memorization based, which made them easier to study for. Participate in class and work hard on the group assignments and you will do well in this class.BIOL2299 2025-12-15 16:36:41 +0000 UTC
Totally a great teacher, just wants everyone in class to learn but succeed. As long as you put in effort and you ask him for help when needed your all setBIOL3421 2025-04-07 21:49:55 +0000 UTC
The best professor I have ever had!! If you get a chance to take him please take him. Just put effort into the assignments and asking questions in class.PHYS1122 2025-04-10 04:58:56 +0000 UTC
Soukos really wants his students to succeed. At first he seems cold but he really grows on you.He goes on lots of tangents during class about his beliefs on life, character, and success, so if you want to hear about that then take him. He gives you slides to memorize for each exam, which are based on pure memorization but very straightforward.BIOL2299 2025-12-14 12:38:13 +0000 UTC
Tough person. Claims to care about students but BLAMES them all the time. He once set a deadline at 2. Says the test isn't hard but NOT when you have less than 60 seconds per question including free response. Also says anyone failing doesn't do their work. But if the class average is a B-B+, maybe students aren't the problem.BIOL3421 2025-04-04 04:47:03 +0000 UTC
The goat great manPHYS1122 2025-04-07 21:51:38 +0000 UTC
Passionate about his subject, relatively easy class with lots of group work. Clear expectations, very nice person as well.BIOL2299 2025-12-12 22:07:06 +0000 UTC
This class is amazing, anyone that says it's terrible or hard just does not do their work. Layed out extremely well and you have every opportunity to ask for help and guidance if needed.BIOL3421 2025-04-04 00:55:52 +0000 UTC
Kind and caring man, wants the best for you I would take his class if you want to actually learn and get a good grade if you put your work in.PHYS1122 2025-04-04 00:57:41 +0000 UTC
If you do all of the assignments you're guaranteed to get at least a C+, and that's if you fail both of the tests. Extremely intuitive and easy to follow, clear grading, and tells you exactly what's gonna be on the test. Bear with his eccentricities and you will do great.BIOL2299 2025-11-20 22:31:16 +0000 UTC
Save yourself and do not take any class this man teaches.BIOL3421 2025-04-03 13:42:48 +0000 UTC
