The professor taught Introduction to Medical Biology and it was an interesting class. The downside were the exams and lectures. It's nice that he only chooses about 10 slides from each lecture for you to study for the exams, but even then the tests were still hard. Worst professor I've ever had. Thinks that he's better than everyone around him and will talk down to you. His class is a waste of time. Once tried to talk to him but he spent 20 minutes boasting about how “straightforward” he is. Worst professor ever. Waste of time as a class. Very bad experience for my first bio class of college. Only talks about philosophy and his lab work. Doesn't teach at all and only wants to hear himself talk. midterm was 9 pages(75 questions) and he gave 25 minutes. He then lectured us on not studying. Do not take. By FAR the worst professor I have ever had. Class is structured terribly, lecture slides are stolen straight from Google images. Teaches nothing, just expects us to memorize random bits of information with no context. Extremely condescending and very often wrong about simple things. Soukos is passionate about his subject but a bad teacher. Take any other biology class and save yourself. The class topics are very interesting, but it is all memorization not learning. He talks down to us, gives us 175 slides to study for an exam, and expects us to do well. I felt uncomfortable coming to class, and attendance was mandatory.BIOL2299 2026-04-16 19:23:59 +0000 UTC
