Professor Baletsa really cares about his students. Although his exams are very tough, they are fair. You will find them easier if you are good at memorizing large amounts of information. GREAT Professor! I learned so much from him. Most classes I purge the information from my brain after it's over. His material is given in such a way that it just sticks in your head. Baletsa's courses are very detail oriented. You are expected to know everything mentioned. He is challeneging, but not tricky- just know everything! His Bio 1-3 courses are so interesting and he teaches the courses with so much knowledge and love, that learning the material to the detail required is fun! This prof is smart, organized, and helpful. His exams aren't easy--learn everything he teaches (or even mentions) in lecture. His teaching is very clear and his exams are straightforward. Extremely knowledgeable & cares about his students' learning. Grade calculated solely on midterm and final which didn't leave much room for errors considering the exams were densely packed with material and mostly fill in the blanks.
