Professor Garg does not know how to simplify complicated course content for students to learn. Somehow, professor Garg manages to make simple concepts more complicated than they actually are, beating the purpose of a professor. Overall she should be the last option you pick. She talks really fast, and everything she says only confuses students. I only passed by studying the practice tests which that are very similar to the test. Study those profusely and you'll pass.That being said it is a class where you learn on your own. I would not take her if this is your first time taking Accounting. She stressed me out completely and it's a fast class. I'm not a numbers person so for me this class was hard in general but her attitude at times does not help. Professor Garg has been one of my favorite teachers since the moment she started the first class with, "What is your favorite avenger?" The class requires you to listen and take notes on lectures at home so you are able to practice problems and gain help in class. Priya is an excellent teacher who teaches the material thoroughly in class. She's eager to help and study guides are key to succeeding since test questions are modeled after it. Attendance isn't mandatory but show up to class and pay attention and all you'll have to do is the connect homework outside of class. The class was okay. Prof Garg was TBA at first. The professor will go through many problems, but it won't guarantee that those will be on the test(s). She does curve the grades. Priya is ALWAYS willing to help struggling students and gives very involved yet fair tests. The problem with intelligent professors is that they assume that everyone is as smart as them.
