I didn't get a good grade, because I dropped the ball on the class. She gave us all the tools necessary to do well, and lots of feedback. She wants her students to do well and works hard to make it happen. Her lectures are eye opening. She is fair and doesn't say anything without factual evidence backing her up. She changed the way I think about health policy and the american healthcare system. I used to place blame on people and bought into the whole healthcare is personal responsibility until I took this class. Now I know that it is far more complicated than that. She's amazing - obviously cares about her students. The material is difficult, but she presents it in such an understandable format. Takes the time to explain everything until everyone in class gets it. She truly cares about her students, and wants all of us to do well.
