Ravit is really nice and cares about her students. Sometimes lectures can be long and boring but she has a lot of group activities and work, so if you come with a positive attitude it can be fun. Need to do the readings in order to participate in class. Most work is group-project based. Would recommend this class!ORGB3201 2026-02-02 15:26:44 +0000 UTC
1-2 question quizzes at the start of every lecture class based on assigned reading for that class (makes up a decent chunk of grade). Pretty easy to participate, count towards your grade. No exams, big group project presentation + paper, will have 5 case analysis. Professor is understanding and nice. Lectures are pretty chill. Interesting ClassMGMT3420 2025-12-10 04:43:49 +0000 UTC
Professor Ravit does a great job of teaching this class! She is passionate about the material and really cares about her students. This is an easier course, as you are mainly graded on little assignments. Attendance is mandatory but you get two days to miss with unexcused absences.MGMT3420 2025-04-15 22:49:31 +0000 UTC
Ravit is amazing. She is so sweet and reminds me of a kindergarten teacher (in the best way possible). Her class is easy and a breath of fresh air. Lots of reading, a few quiz, and project heavy. 10/10 recommendMGMT3420 2025-01-10 20:55:12 +0000 UTC
One of the best professor at Northeastern and cares so deeply about her students. Lectures are very interesting and the class has plenty of projects, activities, and discussions sprinkled in so it's not just a lecture, lecture, lecture, test, repeat type of class. The tests are of medium difficulty, as long as you study you will get a good gradeMGMT3420 2024-12-19 18:32:34 +0000 UTC
Dr. Heskiau is very nice and cares about her students. Her lectures can become a bit boring and she is fairly soft spoken. Part of your grade is made up of 4/5 case studies that you do with randomly assigned groups and there are two open note tests, along with some other assignments and there is a final group project that can be fairly difficultMGMT3420 2024-12-17 16:12:50 +0000 UTC
Grades are based on readings done out of class. Class time can feel like a waste of time since learning is done out side of it. The tests and assignments are hard too.MGMT3420 2024-11-19 02:06:59 +0000 UTC
So hard to get a good grade on the test, esp multiple choiceMGMT3420 2024-11-08 01:53:17 +0000 UTC
I'm absolutely sure that she's one of the most caring professor. She provides sincere feedback to students, but a bit tough on giving grades. There's a bit of readings required every class and participation matters. Highly recommended to those who are interested in HR but those who are not, the course may be a bit challenging.MGMT3420 2023-04-27 17:29:47 +0000 UTC
Honestly, the class seems harder than it is. You must show up and talk in class, for participation grades. Takes very long time to give graded assignments back, but always provides good feedback. She cares about her students.MGMT3420 2023-01-27 17:35:59 +0000 UTC
Ravit gives really good feedback throughout the course, but she's not the easiest grader on papers/projects. It all works out in the end though! I would definitely take another class with her.MGMT3420 2022-12-19 21:46:10 +0000 UTC
