For Econ 3440; don't take it with any professor. Mandatory attendance, the most boring lectures I've ever attended, rude, talks one word a minute, goes on tangents. Grading is almost entirely based on ur midterm, final, and a group project, which are graded harshly. Lectures are long and hard to stay engaged with. The grade is essentially based on the midterm, final, and project, so there's not much flexibility. First midterm was very difficult imo. I took macro theory with Professor Triest - I believe this was his first time teaching undergrads in a while. He is extremely knowledgeable about the topic and was super responsive to student feedback after the first midterm. Super funny and interactive with the class.
