Yashon was the most ineffective instructor that I have ever had. As an online class, she failed to respond to emails in a timely manner. I had to email her three times in order to get an answer to my question. She is supposedly a lawyer, but her grammar is awful. A very eccentric lady who definitely knows her stuff. It's obvious that she enjoys teaching. Very approachable and helpful. Doesen't give a lot of homework. Tests are easy if you did the reading (which there isn't a ton of) and attended the lectures. Yashon is an ineffective instructor. Class time was not spent well with unnecessary group work to fill time. The midterm was quite unfair given that her lecture slides are incompetent in teaching us, not to mention preparing us for the midterm. I took The Human Organism with prof. Yashon and she has made the class fun and easy to follow. She is very clear as well as helpful. I failed the midterm and still managed to get an A- at the end of the semester. Attendance is not mandatory but she gives a lot of little in class assignments which also helps with your grades. She is an awesome teacher who is a lot of fun. She makes the classes interesting and I actually enjoy going to them. class is always let out early and we watch a lot of TV shows. her tests are a little hard but she gave a lot of extra credit on the midterm and they aren't weighted too much.
