Be prepared. Sarni-Garlow is VERY particular in grading criteria. Discussion boards are lengthy and require extensive research to receive a good grade (I spent 5-7 hours on discussion posts each week). Not an easy class, but 100% worth the time. 2 chapters of reading, 1-2 discussion posts a week with 2-4 responses, and multiple videos a week. But if you follow the syllabus, you will be rewarded by learning much about a topic from an instructor who clearly loves what she teaches and who she teaches it to. I did enjoy this course. I learned a lot. However, get ready to read almost the entire textbook. 3 hard tests, plus a final exam. Tests are hard due to the amount of chapters they are on. 1 test encompassed 6 chapters! There's also a project, which was time consuming, but not all that difficult and it was interesting. I received a 89.01 in the class which should have been a b+ & she gave me a b . The quizzes takes time & work . She is very specific on how you answer & respond to the discussion board questions.
